We are setting up a new Community Gardens & Food Growing Project in Southall, to encourage local people, particularly older people to get involved in gardening, food growing, developing a communal garden with flowers, fruit trees and water features, and greenhouse-based activities.
Work involves working with volunteers and undertaking full range of gardening and food growing allotments’ maintenance and activities along with running and supporting different indoor and outdoor gardening activities for individuals and groups.


  • You must have previous experience knowledge and skills around gardening, general flower planting and food growing, garden maintenance and development.
  • You must have ability to engage and support people including older people and people with disabilities, in different gardening and food growing activities.
  • An ability to maintain records and provide basic written reports of activities undertaken is essential.

Work involves flexible working including evening and weekends.

Post based in Southall.
