Mael Gael held the event in association with the Shiv Kumar Batalvi Society. Bhukh is Hunger in English.

There were over 140 guests which included a number of local Punjabi writers and poets: Sabir Ali Sabir, Tahira Sra, Simran Aks, Sunil Sajal.

It was good to see so many talented people under one roof.
